Markie Post is a noted American actor best known for her roles as the public defense Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels on ABCs drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to acting, she's also been associated with several game shows. Her two sisters and daughter were raised by her father, a scientist Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. She studied at Las Lomas High School where she was a cheerleader. She briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. On a personal note Post was once married with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is the husband of Post since 1982. The couple is blessed with two daughters. Post is a source of inspiration for several Hollywood actors because she is a fantastic actress, mother and wife. Her early roles as an actress included an episode in the 1980s of Barnaby Jones that was the pilot episode of Simon & Simon Details At Elevenin 1981, and episode one of the show's second season from 1982, and The A-Team. Post also was a character in The Only Church of Townin 1983 & Hot Stylesin 84 & The Love Boat. She also appeared in the ABC action drama The Fall Guy after appearing in the science fiction series Buck Rogers in the Twenty-First Century and as Diane Chambers the best friend of Diane Chambers in the comedy Cheers.
