Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, at Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is part of the Robertses' fourth generation to live in the Atlanta region beginning from her maternal grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father's passion for theatre was inherited by her. in the theater at an early stage. When he was studying at Emory University, he performed on stage in various productions around Atlanta. He joined the Air Force. While stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in an production along with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in the year 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. After 1957, the couple resigned from the Air Force and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter started work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. The year 1964 was when Walter together with Betty Lou began production on an on-sunday morning local children's TV show titled Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded themselves. The following year they started The Actors and Writers Workshop which was in operation for six years. They also had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also named Julie) during this period.
